Day 3 in Germany Monday, September 21, 2009

The seats filled up quickly on Sunday morning in the room prepared for the service. Brother Gordon had made a challenge to the youth the previous night to go to bed in prayer, and to rise early of the morning in prayer and in great expectation for God to do a mighty work in their lives this day, as they would hear the Voice of God speak to their hearts. That is just what many of these young believers did.

God supplied us with another beautiful day on Sunday, the last day of the Germany Camp, and many were up at the crack of dawn to eat a quick breakfast and make their way to the service location.

The youth sat in the auditorium in reverence as they read their Bibles and prayed before the service began. Brother Gordon walked to the pulpit and started singing a beautiful hymn to the Lord. Everyone followed his lead, and a sweet presence filled the room. After giving a short recap of the blessings the Lord had already supplied, Brother Gordon then introduced the main speaker we had all been waiting to hear.

When the Voice of God’s prophet sounded over the load speakers, we knew it was only a matter of time before the Spirit would pour out over God’s precious children. It was Spiritual Food in Due Season; a Message to bring the children back to the fathers. Brother Branham said it was Bride Food. "...for the children, It’s Bread, It’s Life, It’s Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." Truly God spoke to His children in Bitburg, Germany this past Sunday morning, as they soaked up the Bread of Life into their thirsty hearts. At the conclusion of the tape service, dozens rushed to the altar in response to the call, and many more fell at their seats to surrender or rededicate their lives to the Lord Jesus. If it were only for one, then it was worth every step of preparation, every mile of the trip, and every cost or sacrifice that was made. We have no doubt that God touched and changed the lives of many young believers this past weekend, and anchored their roots in Christ Jesus.

This was the climax of the camp. Even though each one had to return to their homes, jobs, schools, or whatever it may be, they each had something to take back with them. God had supplied a wonderful time of rest and fellowship, and more importantly, a deeper and more rooted foundation in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We met back at the cafeteria for lunch before the first bus arrived to take the youth back to their homes. It’s always difficult to leave an atmosphere of such kindred kind and spirit, but the familiar song of “Til' We Meet at Jesus Feet” was enough to encourage our hearts to press on toward the mark until we meet one another on the other side, where there’ll be no more goodbyes. To God we give all the praise, honor, and glory for the untold blessings that He granted us in Bitburg, Germany this year.
