Perfect Faith
August 25, 1963
"Perfect Faith" is the second tape of Revival Month, and the message following the remarkable 1963 sermon, "How Can I Overcome." After Brother Branham teaches us how we can overcome every obstacle in our lives, he now presents to us the perfect faith to bring it to pass.
At the beginning of the tape, Brother Branham mentions a song he was going to ask someone to sing that night. The Lord must have known what was on the heart of His servant, because while he was ministering in the back room, someone started singing it in the auditorium, "Then Jesus Came."
We've located the song that was sung before the service and placed it here for you to listen to.
In this message, Brother Branham also speaks of the little Collins boy who had very recently been plagued with the toxic rheumatic fever. At the early age of six or seven, he was bed-bound and had to drink through a tube. It was a sad and desperate situation for the Collins family, but they had faith in God’s prophet messenger. It was during the Seven Seals series that they went to the room of the prophet, and the perfect faith that Christ first displayed went to work. The Holy Spirit moved on the scene, and not a trace of the fever remained! His healing was so miraculous that the authorities were called when the parents returned him back to school after he was healed. Even the follow-up blood test testified of the healing of “little Mikie,” (Joe’s playmate) as Brother Branham called him.
And no more than got in, and the Holy Spirit said, "THUS SAITH THE LORD. Take the baby home, he is healed. He will play with my little boy." 63-0628E
Nearly 47 years later, Brother Michael Collins is still a living testament of God's grace, and a display of what perfect faith can produce.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
HEBREWS 11:1
Christ Jesus had the perfect faith that we all long for, because He was the Word made flesh, and He had faith in what the Word said He was. Now, the only thing you have to do then, is have faith in what you are. Have faith in what the Word says you are!
