About five months ago, me and my brother went to the doctor to be checked for pneumonia. They brought us to the back and we had x-rays taken. The doctor came into my room and told my momma that I had scoliosis. He said my spine was curved around 13 degrees. My momma had it real bad when she was little and had to have surgery, so she wasn’t very happy that I had it. He told us of some specialist to go to.

The first one was in Houston. We went there and they took x-rays. The specialist came in and he said it was 13 degrees, but if he worked hard he could bring it to a 12. We set up an appointment with one more specialist in Dallas, and all the time we were praying that the Lord would work a miracle, and we also went through a prayer line.

We went to the second place and they took more x-rays. By this time I was really sick of x-rays. The nurse came in my room and showed us the x-rays. She said it was 10-11 degrees. But her words didn’t mean a thing and we waited for the doctor. After that, the head of the whole hospital came in my room to see me. There were about four other people with him. I was thinking "What are they doing?" The doctor was kind of old and he had a big smile. Then he looked up from my chart and said "I THINK THERE’S BEEN A FALSE ALARM." We were so happy. Three different people looked at my chart and saw scoliosis. But the absolute of the hospital looked and saw me perfectly well.

We’ll always thank God for delivering me from that horrible spine disease!
