Easter Youth Service Monday, April 13, 2009

There were over 700 empty chairs in the oversized tent located in the VGR parking lot. By 7:00 Saturday evening, they were swarmed by a mass of eager youth and quickly filled. The young audience was quiet and humble before God in anticipation for what was to come. The sweet Holy Spirit had filled the room and could be felt before the song service even started. God had a blessing in store for His children.

After a few songs to set the tone for the service, Brother Joseph stood and greeted us in the lovely Name of the Lord Jesus and encouraged our hearts as he spoke for a few minutes. He asked if we came expecting great things. Every hand was raised, and every heart was soon to be blessed.

The Jeffersonville youth group had prepared a special to sing at the youth service and made their way to the front of the tent after a few more songs of worship. They sang a touching song that reminded us that we can make it through Christ no matter what may come. Then a quote was played from the message, “Speak To The Rock” that stirred our hearts. Following Brother Branham's words, the Jeff choir sang the quote word for word.

The most important and special part of the service was now to come. Brother Joseph told us how he had been in prayer as to which tape to play for us during the service. "Every tape is the perfect tape," he said, "But tonight the Lord put it on my heart to play for you, "Door To The Heart." Many may have been unsure about the inner door God has supplied us with, but not after hearing this soul stirring message. Hundreds swarmed to the altar as Brother Branham called us to attention. Waves of the Holy Ghost and God's glory swept through the tent time and time again. There was no doubt that God had once again answered the expecting and needful hearts of His thirsty children.
