Florida Giant Sunflowers Thursday, October 02, 2008

There were several church youth groups who got the idea from the YF website to grow their own gardens this year. Some planted and grew small flower gardens, while others grew large vegetable crops. A small youth crew in Florida decided to decorate a plot of ground on their church parking lot and sent us a few pictures of their flourishing results.

Here is a short greeting and explanation of what the group did:

Here at Faith Tabernacle, in Panama City, Florida, our “Young Foundations” group made a flower bed. The little group grew some very large sunflowers. The tallest one measured at 11 ½ feet.
