Leadership

December 7, 1965

Nearly every day of our lives, we are led by someone or something. When we are born, we are helpless and dependent upon a loving mother to nurture and lead us. As children, we are under the leadership of godly parents to teach and guide us. But as we grow older, we possess freedom and the will to choose for ourselves who and what our leader will be. We as young people are most exposed to the cunning lies of Satan during this stage of our lives. He often tries to use our inexperience and youthful thinking to lead us astray, and at times, he even uses us to lead one another astray. We are forced to make the choice to either follow Christ or the world.

What do you look like? What are you following? What have we done? You must choose your leader. Choose today. You choose Life or death. Your choice will determine your Eternal destination, what you choose. Remember, Jesus said, "Follow Me." And you're invited tonight to do so. And to follow Him to Eternal Life you must come on His terms, that's right, the Word. LEADERSHIP _ 65-1207

The message “Leadership” was one of the last sermons Brother Branham ever preached. It was delivered in Covina, California on December 7th, 1965, at the Covina Bowl facility; approximately 30 miles east of Los Angeles. The banquet service was held inside the rectangular conference room of the bowling alley, which could seat around 250 people.

Such a love and sincerity can be felt as Brother Branham reveals this message to us. He desperately cries out to the audience that the hearts are becoming stony and filled with the world, but God can tear out the "old stony heart" and give us a new heart full of love and tenderness towards Christ. If you want peace, something that satisfies, something that gives assurance, you only have to accept the leadership of Christ, and He’ll lead you to a peace that’ll pass all understanding, a joy that’s unspeakable and full of glory; something that death itself cannot harm.
