Italy YF Camp Thursday, June 12, 2008

Young Foundations is going to Italy and we are inviting you to come with us! From September 12 through September 15 we will be hosting a Young Foundations 3-day camp at Lake Garda, Italy for Message believing youth ages 18-28 (never married.) There will be young brothers and sisters from all across Europe and the world coming together to enjoy fellowship and have a wonderful time while growing closer to God.

The cost of the camp is $200 (registration fee) + airfare. Camp registration will cover your place to stay, food (supper on Friday through lunch on Sunday) and a banquet on Saturday night. Presently, airfare is running around $1200 for much of the U.S. Of course this price will be different depending on where you live and when you book your tickets.

If you are planning on attending you will need to get your passport as soon as possible (this could take several months). Depending which country you are traveling from, you may need to get visas as well. Your flight will need to arrive in Verona, Italy on September 12 between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM in order to have VGR provide transportation to the site. The camp will conclude the morning of September 15th (Monday). There are several airports in this area, however, we will only arrange transport from the Verona airport.

You must register according to the information below to be eligible to attend the camp. There is limited availability so early registration is recommended. We will be in contact with those who register to provide them with more information and let them know if there is still space available. Please do not send your registration fee or book your airline tickets until you have been contacted and confirmed by YF personnel.

  • Your cell phone number (if applicable)
  • Your parent or guardian's address, phone numbers and email addresses

You will need to budget for:

  • Food (other than what will be provided with your registration)
  • Souvenirs
  • Formal dress (for the banquet)
  • Passport costs
  • General spending money and miscellaneous expenses
