Jasper Youth Camp

Last week, a large group of young believers gathered together for a time of unity and fellowship at the annual believers camp meeting in Jasper, Texas. Here is the report of the wonderful time the Lord blessed them with.
From May 28 through June 1, we held the Believers Fellowship Tabernacles 3rd Annual Camp Meeting. With believers gathering from nine states, expectations were great. A special day was planned for the youth on Saturday, which was full of activities, skits, songs, and a youth service.
The young people led the service, and Brother Ricardo Gutierrez from Tempe, Arizona delivered a stirring message which had many of the young believers crying out to God and at the altar seeking the Holy Ghost.
The skits performed by our Sunday school department, under the direction of Brother Paul Stowell, left most of the audience with tear streaked faces and swelling hearts toward the Message we all hold so dear. Each skit began with a quote, ended with a quote, and even the words used during each skit contained the words Brother Branham used to tell the stories they were based on. The skits included: The Christian Dad with his geography book, which boasted an old man with powdered gray hair, literally going up to the attic while his daughter and her high-society friends sat around in their fanciest clothes drinking tea. Their shocked faces when the old Christian daddy let out an abrupt and very loud “AMEN” were priceless!
Another skit featured a young girl standing behind a cardboard picket fence while waiting on God's Elijah to come walking down her street. With over 300 believers in attendance, tears were already forming in everyone’s eyes as she and a young man playing Brother Branham knelt down beside an old cot, on which her son lay very sick, to pray.
The tears kept flowing even to the end of the last skit when a young sister stood as the blind girl searching for her daddy. Shouts of joy erupted when she boldly spoke the words, “Sir, if you take me to the healer, I’ll find my daddy myself.”
The theme of the camp meeting was “Fellowshipping around the Message of the Hour,” and there couldn’t have been a more fitting description. New friendships were made, old friendships rekindled, and love shone from everyone’s faces throughout the entire five days. God is so good!
Once again, the Lord has drawn His little Bride together to feast on His Word and commune one with another. How thankful we are to be associated with fellow believers around the nation and throughout the world who love this Message.
