Young Foundations Paris

A lot of things are taking place right now with the young believers around the world. What once started out as a vision in a small town, led to the opening of Young Foundations and is now rapidly spreading across the globe. Below we have a report of the most recent activities that took place in Europe.

The Young Foundations department in Jeffersonville, Indiana, recently contacted Brother Gerald Buitenkamp, the VGR European office manager in the Netherlands. It was on their hearts to gather the young believers together in the Paris, France, area and inform them about what’s happening with Young Foundations, and to make them aware of events that would transpire throughout the remaining year.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Brother Gerald was in need of making a trip to Paris in order to deliver some materials to the area churches. Although it was a multipurpose trip, the main purpose was for him to speak to the young people.

This past weekend, Brother Gerald did just that. The preparations were made, and the time was set. Saturday afternoon, at a local park within the city, nearly 150 young people gathered inside the parks recreation building. When everyone had arrived they were ready to get started.
The group was excited to be together and anxious to hear what Brother Gerald had to say. All of the youth signed an address book so they could be directly contacted and informed of upcoming events. As they ate the prepared food, Brother Gerald spoke to the group about the growing Young Foundations ministry, and then explained the events they hope to hold for the young people throughout the year. Afterwards, Brother Gerald was able to meet with some of the local Paris pastors and speak with them about Young Foundations and the itinerary. The youth were very happy with the planned activities.

Although the rain prevented the group from any outdoor activities, it was an exciting atmosphere just to fellowship around other believers and to hear of all that is being planned for the upcoming months.
