That's On My Stories
Tuesday, August 05, 2008
For each one of us, there was that little something that clicked inside which made us hunger and thirst to hear God’s prophet. It’s a revelation and experience that few in this last age have received. But God is still using the Message of the hour to stir the hearts of His children.
This story is the testimony of a mother and her daughter, and what God used to get the attention of a young child turned to His messenger.
Our dear Brother Joseph,
It has been on my heart for some time to write to you and express my sincere gratefulness for the Stories and tell you how they changed the life of my oldest daughter. I apologize for taking so long. I pray that even now it will be a blessing to you to hear of the fruit of your labor.
I am sure that you may have known the impact that the Stories would have on the younger generation, but I want to tell my daughter's story.
Before the Stories came out, my oldest daughter, now eight, was not much interested in listening to our prophet. I was grieved with her lack of interest; thinking it must surely be a reflection of my failure. She was interested in listening to Bible stories on tape and Bible songs, but if I mentioned Brother Branham, she didn't want to listen to that.
When she first received the Stories, she could hardly let them stop playing. They played in her room day and night without stop. She began to notice that she was hearing some of those same stories in the messages at church. Just when we were sure she wasn't listening, her head would pop up, and her eyes would light up, and she would smile and whisper, "That’s on my Stories." She started listening more in church, and she realized that there were many more stories on the messages than just those on "her Stories." From there, she wanted to hear more, and she began to pick messages on her own. She listens to Brother Branham every day now.
I believe with all my heart that the Stories shed light on the seed of Eternal Life lying within her and placed within her a hunger for the perfect Word sent by God through our Brother Branham. I am so thankful that my children know who their prophet is. I am so grateful that through your burden and labor of love for our children, my daughter has a hunger for the Word of God that she didn't have before.
God Bless You. We are praying for you.
