Gardens, gardens, and more gardens! This past Saturday, the YF kids ages 10-15 and their families enjoyed a beautiful spring day of gardening here on the Voice Of God property. Each family got a 4 ft. X 4 ft. raised-bed garden box that they could call their own. Some brought seeds, some brought plants, and some brought flowers, but everyone brought a great spirit and love for one another.
As the day unfolded, the boxes got filled and the smiles got big. Dads and moms were getting their hands dirty with their sons and daughters, as they carefully placed their crops into the ground. As you looked around you could see something that you rarely see these days; parents and kids were actually talking and having fun with each other.
As the seeds sprout and the crops grow, we look forward to many more valuable days ahead for these young men and young ladies. We want to encourage the Message-believing youth around the world to take part in projects like this with your local group of believers. Use this as a guide if you wish, or come up with your own project. Let us know what you are doing, and don't forget to send in pictures.
