William Branham Saturday, May 24, 2008

Throughout the period of this month we have posted several articles about different evangelists. Each one has been a witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ during this past century, and each ministry has carried on a legacy of its own. It’s amazing to see how God can take a single man and do mighty things, no matter what his status might be. From the very poorest of poor, to those who contain wealth and status, God calls men to serve as witnesses so that every walk of life may learn of His glory and power.

There’s one more witness that we wish to speak of. He was a man that certainly contained no wealth of this world, nor did he have any fame. He was born to a lowly family in an upbringing surrounded by whiskey and poverty. With only a seventh grade education, it didn’t look like he would amount to much of anything. But God had a purpose for this poor, humble, uneducated man. He was to be the prophet and messenger to this last church age.

We all know him as Brother William Marrion Branham. From his youth up, God spoke to Brother Branham in the manner that He did to the prophets of Old. Before he was two years old, he saw his first vision and was visited by the Angel of the Lord multiple times before he was even converted. This same Angel guided and spoke to Brother Branham all the days of his life. As John the baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, he was sent to forerun His second coming. Through a divine gift from God, he could discern the very hearts of the people, and nothing, not even cancer, could stand before his prayers. Thousands upon thousands were healed through his healing ministry; crippled legs were straightened, tumors fell off, new eye sockets were formed, cancers vanished. More miracles took place than the human mind can fathom. Most men could never have held above the money, popularity, and power that was offered to Brother Branham. But through it all, he remained among the humblest, meekest, loving, most compassionate men this world has ever known. Although his name was unknown to much of the world and his status unaccepted, his ministry was undeniably the vindicated Word of God to this generation. He was the witness sent to this Age, for God's called out people. He was Malachi 4:5.

“Now, watch. There's a lot of truth lost out there. Why? Where others compromised on truth. But this seventh angel don't compromise on nothing. He gathers up all the loose ends, gathers them all up, and at his sounding, all the mystery of God should be finished. Oh, God sent him. All of the hidden mysteries was finished when he... It was revealed to him. By what? If these are hidden mysteries, the man will have to be a prophet. And didn't we just get through and see that the prophet that would come in the last age would be that great Elijah that we been looking for? Because these mysteries that's hid through the theologians will have to be revealed to God, and the Word comes only to the prophet. And we know it. He will be the second Elijah, as promised. Oh, my. The message he--he will bring will be the mysteries on all these things. It will take a prophet. The Bible says that he would be here. That's right. Malachi 4 speaks that he'll be here, and we believe that he will. We're looking for him, and we're looking for his manifestation. And we'll see the vindicated Word of God. There'll just be a few understand it…” Is This The Sign Of The End Sir 62-1230E

Truly this messenger has been manifested in our day, and the Word of God vindicated. The Message that God brought through Brother William Branham has now spread around the world and covered nearly every nation under the sun. He has witnessed to each one of us, and to the world, in a manner unparalleled since the days of Christ and Paul. Though millions have heard him, only few have accepted the Message he brought. We all know we are living in the last days, and we are thankful that God has allowed us to live during the greatest Age in the history of the world, and to be associated with the greatest witness and messenger of all the ages.
