Every man or woman in here that's a Christian knows that something's been on you all your life. When you was a child, you longed to serve God. Something beat at your heart; it was God's election.
David, before anything ever happened, before he'd ever had the anointing oil on him in anything, he knew God was with him. He killed a bear; he killed a lion with that slingshot. And he knowed that was super to an ordinary man to do that. He knew what he could do. He knew God was with him, because his whole heart beat after God. He said in the 47th Psalm, I believe or somewhere there, "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so my soul thirsts after thee, O God."
