Together In Christian Love
Tuesday, April 08, 2008
This past Easter there were thousands of believers who canceled their flights to Jeffersonville and stayed home due to the Easter open house being canceled. But that didn’t stop some of the believing youth in Europe. They were among those who decided to stay home when they heard the news, but their desire for fellowship outweighed the circumstances. As they put it, “The desire of fellowship was so huge in our hearts that we convinced our parents to invite some friends of us in spending the Easter time together in our home.” And that is just what they did. With fellow brothers and sisters, they planned their Easter. By the time it was said and done there were about 40 “young fellows” from all parts of Europe: Italy, Germany, Holland, Lithuania, and Romania! They played volleyball, went on a field-trip together, had singing and fellowship, and they had a youth service to top it off.
A little note from a few of those who helped put it all together and enjoyed the benefits of their labor.
“We'd a great time of fellowship, singing and
worshipping The Lord. We thank Him to have given us this wonderful
opportunity to stay together in Christian love.
Rachele, Lino & Anna Sganzerla”
It’s a security and blessing to know where the hearts of our young people lie. The youth of today are truly the future of tomorrow. To see the unity and desire for Christian fellowship among the youth who believe this Message is a wonderful thing. We are thankful to the Lord for such a fine group of young believers.
