They Shall Recover Saturday, February 09, 2008

Now I want to tell you a testimony of what happened this week. After church on Sunday afternoon, November 4th, I went with Brother Elijah Haufiku to the hospital to pray for his sisters 11 year old boy. Walter got sick some time ago till it got so bad that he lost the use of his legs. They had to take him out of school because he could no longer walk. We spoke to Walter a little bit and told him some testimonies of people that were healed. Brother Elijah had some tracts, and handed Walter and his mother the tract "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever." He read Psalms 103 and we prayed Mark 16:16. We know we don’t have a divine healing ministry, but we do have Jesus as our doctor, and He said for believers to lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover. After we prayed for Walter, I told him to believe like Abraham till Jesus does something for him. If it does not happen today, he must keep the faith for tomorrow and thereafter until it happens. Then we left.

Walter Monday morning a very small voice told me a little boy is healed. I thought, "Okay, maybe it is just a thought I would like to have about Walter.” On Monday afternoon, the 5th of November, Brother Elijah called me so excited. He said "the boy is fine brother. The boy is fine. He got up today by himself and walked to the toilet himself."

God has touched little Walter. He can walk again. I am so glad for him. He can now also have a normal school life like every other boy. Our God is great. I love Him. Attached you will see a picture of Walter standing again for the first time in a long time, very happy.
