Unconditional Sunday, June 01, 2008

In the world we live in today, there are constant disappointments and failures. Everything we are bound to is burdened with conditions and terms. Education, health, family, friends, money, popularity; all of these things are subject to failure and change.

Education may gain you a position in society, but not in Heaven. Your health can fail at any time. Friends come and go. Families fall apart. So often we become overwhelmed by the conditions we are subject to, and we lose sight of the unconditional promises of God. It hurts when conditions impose on what we cherish the most. They cause our world to fall apart. We become so burdened by these conditions until we think we must submit to them in order to survive and fit in. But there’s only one survival tool that is needed to defeat every condition that has been placed upon man; that is the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Everything else falls short and fails miserably.

When things fall apart or fail in our lives, we search for ways to mend them back together and find happiness again. Some search for contentment in worldly substitutes; others resort to a life of solitude. The truth is, most search and never find. Many end up with a life of misery, in an insane institution, or committing suicide; all in the pursuit of finding peace and happiness. Jesus Christ is the only One who can fill the void in our lives. When that One true happiness is found, and we realize that we are children of God and Royal Seeds of Abraham, we gain a love and companionship that is unconditional and perfect. It NEVER fails. The unconditional love of God can bring you from a world of sin and disparity into a world of perfect peace and harmony.

    Conditional:
  • 1. Imposing, containing, subject to, or depending on a condition or conditions; not absolute; made or allowed on certain terms: conditional acceptance.
  • 2. A restricting, limiting, or modifying circumstance: It can happen only under certain conditions.
    Unconditional:
  • 1. COMPLETE and ABSOLUTE, and not dependent on certain terms or conditions
  • 2. Not modified or restricted by reservations
  • 3. Not contingent; not determined or influenced by someone or something else

God has unconditionally given us all that we need to survive in this world. No matter what kind of past life we have, God unconditionally saves us, even when our nature is against His. No matter how many our failures, He unconditionally gives us His love and grace. He unconditionally elected and called us. He unconditionally gives us His covenant. He unconditionally heals us. All of these things God promised to us in His unconditional Word. And God is obligated to His Word. It is our Absolute. The only thing we have to do is believe. If He fulfills His promises, then we are obligated to believe Him. Brother Branham said,

And if God promises, God will keep His Word. If God promised to heal you, He will do it. If God promised to give you the Holy Ghost, He will do it. You just come and be--repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and believe Him, and watch what happens. That's right. You will be filled with the Holy Ghost. God's obligated to His Word. He cannot take His Word back. He's got to keep His Word in order to be God. He has to. Israel And The Church #5 53-0329

Though we may often feel weighed down by the endless conditions of this world, we are thankful for His overcoming grace, His unconditional love, and His Spirit He has given us. We have a glorious promise to hold on to. Don't allow Satan to get you bound under the conditions of this world. Take God at His Word. Claim your inheritance. It’s perfect, and it’s unconditional!

The Bride is the covenant people, unconditionally. God called you out of the world, gave you the Holy Ghost. The Seed of Abraham you are tonight with a blessed promise. Amen. My, if you... Then if you're Abraham's Seed, you have this promise in you. You believe God regardless of what takes place. The Holy Ghost makes you believe it anyhow.
