Expectancy
August 17, 1952

Kellogg Auditorium
In the summer of August, 1952, the people in the small town of Battle Creek, Michigan flooded the Kellogg Auditorium. They were in great expectation of what might take place. God’s prophet was visiting their home town, and the revival meeting was soon to start. The people came believing that God would move.

Kellogg Auditorium
The W.K. Kellogg Auditorium is a large theatre located in the old downtown district of Battle Creek. It has been owned by a local school group since the early 1930’s. Over the years it has been used for numerous events, ranging from primarily theatre, to business gatherings, to evangelical church meetings. Its large, theatre style allows seating for two-thousand plus people. Since the time Brother Branham preached there in 1952, it has undergone a 5.5 million dollar renovation and looks slightly different than it once did.
During the time of the Battle Creek meetings, the Holy Ghost found favor with the people, and paid an early, special visit to the gathered saints during the message, “Expectancy.”

Not even five minutes after the start of the service, Brother Branham called out a woman sitting in the meeting.
“You know, it's strange, as I see him standing right here trying to speak to you, the Angel of the Lord is near, and I just seen a woman healed with stomach trouble, just right now, setting here in the meeting. That's right. That right? You had it, didn't you? Is that right? Raise up your hand. That's right. You're healed of it now. You just been healed while you were setting there”.
Why was she healed? It was because she believed. She was sincere and came expecting.
When listening to this message you can feel a strong pull of the Holy Spirit. There is an earnest, sincere tone in Brother Branham’s voice to get the message of expectancy to the people. How important it is in these last days to be ever so expectant of the Holy Spirit in every facet of our lives. We are taught by the Bible and Brother Branham that whatever you expect is what you receive. If you come expecting blessings, then blessings you shall receive. If you come expecting nothing, then nothing is what you will receive. Brother Branham said, "Did you ever expect something? Usually you get what you expect. Did you know that?"
This New Years, what are you expecting to happen? Are you expecting healing? Are you expecting a closer walk with the Lord? Maybe you’re hoping to find a better job or to get married. But if you’ll be in constant expectation of the Holy Spirit, then all of these things will fall into perfect place just as the Lord has planned. This New Year we challenge you to be expecting mighty things from the Lord. Be expecting great services at your churches. Be expecting and in prayer for wonderful things to take place throughout the entire year. And if we are sincere in our expectancy, then God will most certainly be on the scene. We pray and are in expectancy with you that God will do marvelous things this New Year for each and every young believer around the world.
