A Day Of Giving Back
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
On the seventeenth of November, Young Foundations will be holding a Thanksgiving dinner for the elderly and widowed believers from around the area. The local YF group has been busy preparing for this event, which will allow them to give back a little of the love that these saints of God have shown over the years. Young sisters, ages 16-25, will be preparing the food, and entertainment will be provided by the young boys and girls, ages 5-12. They will be showing off their Bible character costumes, while reciting short phrases they have memorized about their characters. It is sure to be an afternoon of fun and fellowship for both the young volunteers and the elderly saints.
We know it will be a blessing to each one, and hope it will encourage other churches to unite with their young believers and do the same. We want to take the time over the holiday season to give back to the ones who have given so much and to the ones who are not so fortunate. There are so many things we can do for others if we’ll only take the time to do so. It’s a sacrifice well worth making.

You know what a blessing is? Do something for somebody else. That's right.
