Mommy me watch movie?
Friday, December 21, 2007
After I took my daughter to school, I started my morning cleaning with washing and picking up, and had started to vacuum. As I went from room to room to do my daily duties, my son (four years old) followed me and asked multiple times, "Mommy, me watch movie?"
I told him, "Not this morning buddy."
As I continued with my household cleaning, practically stepping on my little boy in every room, he asked over and over again "Pwease Mommy, me watch movie?"
I started to get frustrated. I said, "What did Mommy say?"
NO MOVIE!"
As I turned around realizing that I was rather short with him and looked down at him. He had tucked under his arm a DVD video of Brother Branham ~ Twentieth Century Prophet and Deep Calleth to the Deep.
I grabbed him, hugged him, apologized for my shortcoming, and promised to be a better Mommy.
But most of all, I explained how special it was that with all the little cartoons and Christian movies, he had chosen THIS one. Praise the Lord.
I was humbled.
