It was Sunday night after Church. Many of the young people often get together after service for a little time of fellowship, so we decided on Dairy Queen this evening. Once there, we all stood in line and one by one, placed our orders.

When I got to the front of the line, the cashier, a young man about 20 years old, asked me what Church we all went to (I guess we looked a little different than what he was used to). I told him which church we attended, and talked a little about Brother Branham. He said that he went to a small denominational church down the street. He went on to give me a short testimony about him and his wife. He said that they are having problems, and he made a covenant with the Lord to change some of his ways in order to save his marriage. I told him to keep trusting in the Lord, and He would make a way. I took my food and went to our table.

We all had a nice time of fellowship for about an hour, and then it was time to go home. Just before I left, the cashier nervously came to me and gave me a small note written on a receipt. He told me to read it later. I walked outside and read the paper, “Can you pray for me and my wife.” Display contentI walked back into the restaurant to encourage him in his walk with the Lord. As we were talking, he started asking me more about my church, and I started witnessing to him. Eventually, he wrote down the address, directions, and service times.

Now I know what Brother Branham meant when he said that you need to be prayed up. When I woke up that morning, I had no idea that the Lord would use me that evening. I am so thankful that this man saw something in me that he desired. I want to live every day for the Lord Jesus!
