The False Light
Wednesday, March 28, 2007
For 125 years the British Post Office train known as the Up Special ran
every night without interference until early one morning on August 8, 1963, when
a false red light stopped the train in Buckinghamshire, England. Thieves stopped
the train by replacing the normally green signal light with a red one. The train
stopped just long enough for 15 gang members to board the train and pull off the
heist.
This train robbery has been heralded by the world as the greatest robbery in history.
However, the robbery of some train in England cannot compare to the robbery of the
power of the Holy Ghost from the Church in this day.
Brother Branham said: And the greatest robbery the church of God has ever had is
a false light, a glare, their denomination. It's robbed them from the power of the
Holy Ghost. It's took from the church the very Life-line. It's robbed them of the
Word, when they accepted a creed instead of the Word. It's robbed them.
What if the conductor of the train had known that the ambush waited at that red
light? If only he had been warned of the consequences of stopping his train that
night! If he would have been warned, and he would have believed
the warning, the enemy would not have had the opportunity to board the train, and
the treasure would have stayed where it belonged.
We have a warning today. God sent his children a prophet messenger to warn them
of the enemy laying in wait to rob them of their reward. That messenger is named
William Marrion Branham. He taught us not to stop, not even for a moment.
